The food was good, but the service was excellent!! Our waitress was so accommodating and attentive to our large group of 8. Half of my group ordered the crab cake sandwich. No one liked the bread AT ALL. The crab itself was juicy and had little breading. The lobster in the lobster mac and cheese was a bit too crispy (pan seared) according to two of the girls. The appetizers were delicious!!! Get tge Coastal Salt Roll! The highlight was our drinks from the Rum Shack next door that our waitress went and picked up for us.

One of the places open during the offseason, nice bar inside with very warm and welcoming dining room. There is outside dining if the weather's nice. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails and beers. The east coast old fashioned was delicious. They had a soup special for St Patrick's Day which was lamb and corned beef and vegetables and potatoes etc which was very good. The Mediterranean scallops were tasty as well. The seafood bucatini was creamy and delicious and the seafood very fresh tasting. Cooked perfectly as well especially the scallops. All the other meals everyone said were good, the steak was cooked perfectly and everyone left full and happy. Service was wonderful, friendly, and enjoyable.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant, located directly on the Ocean City boardwalk. We walked there from our hotel just a block or two away (Holiday Inn & Suites, which is a great hotel). We ordered Seafood Bucatini, Fried Deviled Eggs (you get three), and the Smoked Jamaican with pasta salad. Almost everything was delicious. The Seafood Bucatini had lovely tiny tomatoes (Red Teardrop or Pear tomatoes), good-tasting sauce, three nice-sized scallops, three ok-sized shrimp, and some crab meat (not much; it would have been nice to have more-see the pictures). All the components of the dish come together well, but I’m just not much of a pasta person; could have done without all the bucatini, which was the primary component of the dish. I would have preferred brown rice and some more cheese, but it was a delicious dish as-is. My husband had the Smoked Jamaican, and really love it except for one of the parts that made it Jamaican cuisine – the two pineapple slices (see the pictures; onions, bacon, cheese, and something like cole slaw)! After removing the two pineapple slices, he loved the sandwich-chicken that was cooked well; juicy and not overcooked. The fried deviled eggs were interesting…I was wondering how they make this – whether they make a complete deviled egg and then drop it in a fryer or do something else. See the picture – seems like the cooked white part of the egg is fried. The texture of the yolk is quite interesting…I’m not sure what they do with it (maybe they fry the yolk separately to get the texture it has); the yolk was sort of fluffy but NOT creamy (creamy meaning mashing the yolk together like when you make regular deviled eggs). They put the egg yolk on top of the fried egg white, then top the egg yolk with a bit of crab meat and bacon. And also, there's another picture in my photos that is from their website at this current time. The fried deviled eggs in that photo appear to have an additional drizzled sauce, plus definitely more crab meat, and possibly some old bay (look at the outer rim of the plate). In my opinion, what provided the flavor was the fried egg white, not the yolk. I’d recommend adding seasonings (like old bay, a bit of Himalayan salt, and some pepper) to the egg yolk to jazz up the flavor profile (I added Himalayan salt and some pepper on my own, and it tasted even better, so that’s why I’m recommending those seasonings); between the photo of what we received and what's currenty on their website (also pictured in my photos), it's possible that I could have had a better opinion of the fried deviled eggs if I received what's shown on their website. Aside from that, the fried deviled eggs were a decent surprise for something I’d never tried before. Last but not least, the pasta salad…completely not a hit with us. My husband added Cabet Seriously Sharp white cheese pieces to it, as well as roasted garlic seasoning, pepper, and hot sauce, and those items made the pasta salad much better. As for me, I probably would have also added mayo, but of course, it’s up to your own tastes. If you’re one who doesn't like mayo (or salad dressing like Miracle Whip) or other seasonings in your pasta salad, then you’d likely enjoy the pasta salad from here. See the photo – shell-shaped pasta with a few peppers, a few carrots, a few cucumbers, and a few other ingredients. Overall, we give this place an 8 out of 10 and would definitely eat here again. THANKS!!!
